Two men arrested for fighting at Taman Jurong coffee shop

Two men, aged 60 and 66, have been arrested for their participation in a coffee shop brawl.

The fight took place on March 3 at 101 Taman Jurong coffee shop, on Yung Sheng Road. Police said that they were alerted at 7.20pm.

One man was found with facial injuries inflicted by a knuckleduster. He was shortly taken to a hospital. The attackers fled the scene before the police arrived, but were quickly tracked down with the aid of CCTV footage.

The two suspects will be charged in court on Wednesday with voluntarily causing hurt by a dangerous weapon with common intention.

If found guilty, they could be jailed for up to seven years and fined.
